How to Make a Fast Acting Ant Killer
DIY Ant Killer
I have tried a few different methods of homemade ant killers but none worked quite as well as this one and it only uses three ingredients.
The thing is, there are many products available that promise to rid your home of ants. The costs can quickly build and at the end of it all….. You still have ants. Don’t give up just yet until you have tried a little Borax.
Deterrent sprays can work fine most of the time but if the ants are already in the home and waiting for dinner to be cooked, it’s time to act.
That’s right, this method will get rid of any ants in the home, on your patio, in your garage, and even in the yard. And, there won’t be any ants walking away from this one as if needed, it would even kill fire ants. Is it really that good? Does it really work in minutes? That would be a yes all round so let’s get to it.
You will need the following three items:
- Borax (sodium tetraborate decahydrate)
- Sugar
- Warm water
How to Make a Fast Acting Ant Killer
Start off by adding half a cup of sugar to a bowl and mix in 3 tablespoons of Borax. Mix it thoroughly.
Add a small amount of water to the mixture until you are left with a thick syrup.
Now all that is left is to add your mixture to a shallow dish and watch as the ants come in expecting a nice feast.
***Keep this mixture away from children and pets!***
The ants will stay to eat up their Borax meal and then head off back to their nests, killing the entire colony!
The speed at which the borax works is long enough for the ant to get back to its colony and share the poisoned bait with its fellow ants, effectively killing most, if not all, of them.
Ants are very persistent pests, as they multiply fast and are as efficient and organized as a real army. If you don’t treat the problem right away, soon it may become very serious and out of your hands. Try using borax to resolve your ant problem and avoid the need for professional help.
